The doctors in the practice have been trained in the diagnosis and treatment of all childhood illnesses.

Childhood immunisations are available free of charge. The website www.immunisation.ie contains useful information for all parents regarding the diseases we vaccinate against.

All the doctors and nurses are fully trained in Family Planning advice and the practice offers advice on all methods.

We participate in the combined antenatal care programme where antenatal visits with us are free of charge. We recommend women to attend us when they find out they are pregnant. We will arrange referral for obstetric care and during the pregnancy visits will alternate between us and the hospital...

Family planning services are available from oral contraceptives, mirena, jaydes,copper t coil fittings, implanon fittings and injections. Our doctors and nurses can discuss what form of contraception suits.

Cervical Check is the national cervical screening programme.Its aim is to facilitate cervical screening for all women aged 25 – 60 years. These tests can be carried out by our nurses in the practice.Cervical check will issue invitations to the women in this age group and an appointment can then be..

Thankfully men are taking an increasing interest in their health. For young men the concern is often testicular cancer, for older men prostate cancer.

Our health screening aims to establish your susceptibility to certain diseases taking into account your age and any previous health problems. The programme is comprehensive and it allows you and the doctor plan for continuing good health and prevention of disease.‍

We cater for all student health needs including a full STD screening and treatment service and a student discount applies to those with a current student ID card.

STI screening test available. Tests can be performed for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Syphilis. These tests are performed by way of a urine test or blood sample.

We are a registered Travel Vaccination centre and provide advice on foreign travel. Our nurses have completed specialised courses for the administration of Travel vaccinations.

Bloods can be part of the doctors examination or if requested by Consultants as part of a patient's medical management. Our blood tests are done Monday to Thursday morning only. Please contact the office for an appointment.

Joint and muscle inflammation of shoulders, knees, elbows, wrists can be treated with joint injections.
